Lin Feng

Born in 1996, China

MA Sculpture student at Royal College of Art

Developing a talent for art at a very young age Lin Feng started her career in Shijiazhuang China.Her cultural history was filled with tradition allowing her to view traditional Chinese art every step of the way. Her experience grew and grew as her building blocks consisted of many different forms of art ,ranging from drawings and paintings then moving towards sculpture.She became fascinated with nature and the colours it produce therefore applying it to her core themes of art. She was  exposed to traditional sculpture in china , gaining knowledge on different objects and resources.Her interest in art cultivated and developed as she opted to do BA in Art then progressing to her MA course at the Royal College Of Art. Her sense of accomplishment is for people to start noticing what nature and life has to offer and the beauty of it. Due to her particular interest he is an active environmentalist. Some of  her work consists of the early stages in her career, and some are recently done this year. The creation of her work is derived from life and nature. Some of the earliest ones were based on realistic sculptures and paintings, with a primary focus on the techniques of sculpture. Occasionally She do some wall painting work for students as her steady hand is an attribute . In school she did a lot of pottery, hand-made courses, etc. Some innovations were made in the later period, and some works were tried with other materials. Her format of resin is due to the Vibrant colours that appears mimicking the beauty of nature. Being self motivated she is continuously driven as art is her passion .

She currently resides in London as a student and a part time language teacher.
